RSVP
matches people age 55 or older with volunteer opportunities at more than 100
local nonprofits, including the Red Cross. Whether by volunteering as part of
the Red Cross Disaster Action Team or donating their time at schools,
hospitals, or cultural organizations, RSVP volunteers give back to their
community by sharing years of life experiences.
The
American Red Cross Southwestern Pennsylvania Chapter is proud to sponsor the
local RSVP and appreciates the contributions of RSVP volunteers who help to
fulfill the Red Cross mission to prevent, prepare for, and respond to
emergencies.
Training
To celebrate the 25th anniversary, RSVP and the Red Cross will offer free training classes in health and safety skills to RSVP volunteers. Please call (412) 263-3184 for more details!
